Este viene a ser su quinto disco, Land of the Free, fue el primero sin Ralf Scheepers. El guitarrista Kai Hansen, el fundador de la banda, quedó en la voz.esta sería la primera vez, en 8 años, que sería el cantante exclusivo de la banda.El Tema "Afterlife" fue escrita como un tributo a Ingo Schwichtenberg, compañero de Hansen en Helloween, que se suicido antes de la salida del disco. Parte del solo del tema 4 "All of the Damned", está tomado la canción de Eagles, Hotel California.Land of the Free fue al número 1 en las listas por los eschuchas de Sputnikmusic.com,Land of the Free tambiem es el disco más vendido de Gamma Ray a nivel mundial.Un super disco , ademas de excelente ,
